When Nana from Option Motorsport phoned us to request some interior trimming work on his modified Drift NSX, we knew we were going to recieve a car prepared and maintained to the highest of standards.

The brief was to trim all parts above the waistline in the interior in Lamonta(black) to add some flair to the otherwise modest modifications inside. It was requested that all the panels that came from Honda that were slightly soft remained as so.

We first began by removing all the interior parts ready for prepping. Such an enclosed cabin meant great care was exercised to remove the parts safely and without damage ( compounded by the beautiful and expensive Recaro bucket seats having imaculatly finished back panels).

Once removed, all material was stripped and all traces of the existing foam was removed ( a task made all the more difficult by Honda's quality bonding process from the factory! )

Once prepared, all panels that required it were treated to a layer of 30kg/m foam backing, and shaped to follow all contours. On top of this was then layed the black Lamonta. All panels were trimmed and rebuilt, and attached back to the car, to leave the finished product, which beautifully mixes luxury with racing impressions. The newly trimmed panels matching the suede racing steering wheel to complete the racing style.
