A simple install, the brief was to build a clean simple install that retained a usable amount of boot space.
We decided to replicate the colour schemes of both the car ( black with red detailing ) and the Kicker equipment that the customer supplied ( red and black ).

To add some “kick” to the install we rebated and inlayed the Kicker logo in the false floor, and used a slightly lighter colour suede on the false floor to allow the eye to separate the box and floor more easily but subtly.

The subwoofer was rebated slightly into the thick baffle to keep the lines clean and simple, with the amp mounted on its own cradle to allow it to fit flush into the cutout.

The box and face sections were fillered into the contours of the side of the boot, with the side sections ( seen trimmed in red ) were padded slightly to reduce the deep contour returns in the side panels, and give the install a feeling of thickness and solidity.

A red neon adds the glow to brighten the installation when its dark.
